Soccer Month Starts with a Bang! Utah Youth Soccer Association kicked off the first of three Youth Soccer Month events Friday, September 12th at the University of Utah. The event featured a variety of activities including a mini soccer clinic directed by State Technical Director Greg Maas, complimentary hot dogs and drinks provided by UYSA, Leo the Lion with REAL Salt Lake signing autographs, and free admission to the University of Utah Women's Soccer Game complements of the University of Utah. With over 500 kids and parents participating, The University of Utah soccer event can only be described as great success. We would like to thank all those that came to support Youth Soccer Month and encourage everyone to attend the upcoming Utah Youth Soccer Month events. If you missed the first event no need to worry! We will be coming to Utah County and Davis County soon. Friday, September 19 BYU Women's Soccer Game with UYSA half time recognitions. The game starts at 7:00 pm so come and enjoy the soccer game in the new BYU Soccer Stadium. Monday, September 29 A Mini Clinic for 4-12 year olds will be held from 5:00pm -6:30pm at the Angel Street Park (200 South Angel Street) in Kaysville. Leo the Lion and an RSL player will also be appearing at this event. So bring your teams and come enjoy a night of fun! Kids that will be participating in the clinic will need to bring their own ball.
