State Technical Director Greg Maas and Technical Department Coordinator Colette Albretsen offered special thanks to all of the volunteers, administrators and coaches for their dedication and commitment to provide our state's top players an opportunity for continued growth and development as individuals and players this past fall and winter.

Final player selections were determined by individual technical, tactical, physical and psychological components of the game; and final selections for this year's state team pools were exceptionally challenging. "I would like to thank each player and recognize their hard work and commitment to ODP; and I am confident that every player had a positive, challenging and rewarding experience," Maas noted.

The next scheduled ODP event(s) will be the Oregon Nike ODP Tournament over Memorial Day. ODP will send three teams to represent Utah from the '92, '94 and '95 boy's state team pools, and team composition will be determined by Friday, April 3rd. The 7th Annual ODP Mountain States Friendlies held June 5-7, 2009 in Orem, will be the next scheduled event for all boys and girls age groups ('98-'92).

In addition, the 3rd annual ODP Super Academy will kick-off June 2009. The ODP Super Academy will feature a comprehensive eight session (once-a-week) academy training program that will help to develop and prepare each player for next year's ODP and competition programs. Importantly, the ODP Super Academy is exclusive only to those players who attended this year's 2008-09 ODP tryouts.
