Utah Youth Soccer Association has held the tradition of honoring the 1st and 2nd place teams in its state competition gaming league, by awarding those teams with either trophies or medals. There will be one 1st place winner and one 2nd place winner for each division. The trophy/medals are only available for State Competition teams. This is not available for X-League, District, or Double A teams.

A trophy/medal request form must be filled out and submitted to the state office to ensure trophies are ordered for your team. Utah Youth Soccer Association would encourage all teams that have not yet recorded game scores for played games in the 2009 Fall Season to do so as soon as possible.

UYSA Tie Breaker Policy:

6:02:21 TIE BREAKERS

In the case of a tie at the end of a season, the tie breaking procedure will be:
1. The winner in head-to-head competition
2. Goal differential (goals scored minus goals allowed to a maximum differential of 4 per game)
3. Least goals allowed
4. Most goals scored (goals scored to a maximum of 4 per game)
5. Shut-out wins (forfeits not counting)
6. Coin toss by the Competition Committee at the pre-alignment
7. If more than two (2) teams are tied, the tiebreaker criteria listed shall be used in the order shown until one team is advanced. If remaining teams are still tied at this point in the tie-breaking process, they will then be compared beginning again with step 1 until another team is advanced.
